Skye - Adventure Thread (Kanto)

It's only as Skye begins to sit up that she notices something distinctly out of place with what her brain tells her is "normal". There are two other people in bed with her. They're even snuggled pretty close....oh thank god, they're still clothed (mostly).

Let's see... boobs, check. Undergarments...check. Blue hair...check. Tail...che-wait what?!

The other two - Rosa and Kaede, Skye now recalls, groan and begin to stir. Kaede is the first to open her eyes fully and takes in Skye's appearance. "Blue's a good look on you, Skye. The fluffy things on your head are pretty cute too." A half-asleep Rosa snickers softly.

Skye's denial only causes both of her bed companions to snicker. Kaeda reaches over and gently touches her fluffy new...head-wings? "Ooh, they're as soft as they look! Here, you touch them too, Rosa!" She gushes. Rosa obliges this 'request', and now they're both smirking at you while gently fondling your new, fluffy appendages.

They continue the teasing for awhile, but it does eventually end. There is a short, somewhat awkward silence before Rosa asks "Now what?".

"You could always trying being a Pokemon Trainer." Kaede suggests. "They say if you win high enough there are some really sweet cash prizes at the League."

Kaede blushes furiously while Rosa merely laughs at Skye's antics. They helpfully point out exactly how one registers to become a Trainer, and to basically not listen to a word that Professor Oak says; the lazy bum.

Registering is easy. Getting to the dilapidated Pokemon Lab in Pallet Town is also easy. Sitting through Professor Blue's half-assed introduction that consists mainly of a several-year-old video of Champion Lilith's rise to power...now that; that is difficult. Thankfully it's over relatively quickly and Skye gets her official Pokedex (serving as her Trainer ID) and five basic Poke Balls. Not to mention her Starter Pokemon.

Now that everything necessary has been obtained (including a Gym Challenge Guide to help new trainers get their bearings), the only thing that remains is to decide which direction to go first! One could travel South from Pallet, to Route 21, but without a water Pokemon to ride on, or money for a ferry ticket, that may be a difficult path as swimming runs the risk of bumping into schools of Tentacool that drift along the currents at times.

Conversely, there is the "traditional path", starting at Route 1 to the North and passing through all the cities in turn.

Eevee looks nonplussed at being squished by Skye. Being so busy gushing over its aesthetically pleasing form, Skye doesn't even notice her two friends from last night walk up behind her and start recording this interaction. They try desperately to stifle their giggling.
